Steel Survivor Privacy Policy

The short version

Steel Survivor has no accounts, no login, and no ads. It does not ask for your name, your email, your contacts, your photos, or your location. It does not use the advertising identifier and it does not track you across other apps or websites.

What the game records

So that we can tell whether people keep playing, the game sends a small set of gameplay events to a server we run:

• A device identifier the game generates by itself on first launch. It is a random value stored on your device. It is not the Apple advertising identifier, it is not your device serial number, and it cannot be connected to you as a person.
• Session and gameplay information: when the app was opened, which mission was started, which wave was reached, whether the run was won or lost, which upgrade cards were picked, and whether a purchase was made.
• Basic device information: app version, platform, device model, operating system version, system language, and country.

That is the whole list. There is nothing else.

What we do with it

We count how many people come back the day after they install, and where in the game people stop playing. That is the only use. The data is not sold, not shared with advertisers, and not given to any third party analytics company. There is no advertising network in this version of the game.

Where it is stored

On our own server, hosted on Cloudflare. Nobody outside EMKE Seismic Isolation LLC has access to it.

Purchases

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. We only record that a purchase of a given product happened, so that we can tell which items people want.

Children

The game has no chat, no user generated content, and no way to contact another player.

Your choices

Deleting the app removes the identifier the game generated, and a reinstall creates a new one. If you would like the records associated with your device removed, write to us at info@emke.app and we will delete them.
